I’m just 1 person trying to take care of my body and mind. I’m definitely going to need to focus hard on next month’s sleep challenge, because I know I’m not getting enough of that. I am getting outside a little more, however. And I started some new meds which, so far, aren’t causing drastic side effects like the last ones.
I did a lot of dance workouts this week, because they make me happy. “Raise Your Glass” is one of my favorite songs ever, so it was great to be able to dance along to that one. And after watching In the Heights, it was great to do a dance workout to the original Broadway versions of the songs as well. Those two were definitely the highlights of my week of workouts.
The Pride dance workouts were also fun and a good companion to the Pride festival I attended on Saturday. I had to park many blocks away, so between that and the festival itself, I got in a lot of steps that day! So even though my total workout minutes is on the low side, there was a lot more to keeping myself fit than just my week of workouts. Now if I could just figure out how to get more sleep in…
