I’m just 1 person who needs more cardio. I’ve been indulging on Oreos and pie from my birthday and candy I still have from Easter, which has been showing itself on my scale. Cardio is a great way of seeing the number on my scale drop back down. But I want to continue to work on my waistline, so I’m still concentrating on core and ab work whenever possible.
Dance workouts are not my favorite, as I’m not coordinated to make them look good or to keep up with some of the movements, but they are great for cardio. After years of seeing this Latin Dance workout on PopSugar’s favorites, I finally gave it a shot. It went about as badly as you might imagine, but I definitely broke a sweat and got my heartrate up.
Jake DuPree, as always, killed me with this workout. I broke a sweat early on and had a difficult time keeping up by the half-way mark. I did my best to stick with it, but I ended up alternating arms at times to give them each a few extra seconds of rest.
