I’m just 1 person trying to stay fit. I like to work out every day for at least 20 minutes if I can, because it helps me manage my stress. But I also fully believe in days off for stretching. Listen to your body, and don’t push yourself too hard. Follow along with my week of workouts or choose a few to consider integrating into your rotation.
Last Saturday was Boxing Day, so I celebrated with one of my favorite boxing/kickboxing workouts. This week, I inadvertently began and ended with Deja Riley workouts. I’m not a big fan of dance workouts, to be honest, but I will sometimes do them if I feel I need some cardio and need to be distracted by fun music while getting it.
If you follow me for a while, you’ll see that I definitely have favorite instructors and workouts I repeat often. I heavily favor boxing/kickboxing because it makes me feel powerful and core/ab work because I have a dream of being able to see my abs one day. I can feel ’em, and I know they’re strong, but I can’t see them. I tend to throw my favorite killer ab workout into the mix whenever I need to bump up my minutes and spend some extra times. As you can see, I did that one twice this week.
