I’m just 1 person who feels like trying new workouts. I have a “watch later” list on YouTube that is full of exercise videos I’ve never gotten around to watching later. So this week, I decided to make a dent in that list.
I started with one that was challenging for me; I couldn’t keep up with it a few times. But it was so much fun that I immediately added it to my favorite workout playlist. I look forward to trying it again and again until I can keep up with all those kicks and lunges, and maybe even doing the advanced versions.
Not every workout is one I want to do again, however. I’m frequently drawn to dance workouts because the time goes quickly and they trick me into getting fit and getting a lot of steps in while having fun. This week I also wanted to win the Fitbit Workweek Hustle challenge for the first time, so I made getting more steps a priority. The dance and cardio workouts helped a lot! However, I often can’t follow along to dance workouts and feel silly even trying. So it’s not often those make it onto my favorites list.
It’s been fun doing a whole week of new-to-me workouts. I’m definitely going to try this again sometime to keep my favorites list growing and to try out new trainers and exercises.

Oh, and I did win my group’s Workweek Hustle for the first (and maybe only) time. There’s some tough competition from others in the group, and it was exhausting keeping ahead of those consistent superstars!
